West Indies were always favourites for the T20 series and they proved that in emphatic style.
In truth Bangladesh were second best throughout the series so the only questions that need to be asked is whether this series really represented a big step forward for the West Indies.

West Indies announce white ball squads vs Bangladesh: reaction video
The announcement has come and we have a 'new' set of T20 and ODI squads to cast our eye over as we head into the white ball portion of the Bangladesh series.
No Hetmyer, Lewis, Cottrell, Holder, Allen, Russell or Narine and that's just for starters.
New West Indies captain Nicholas Pooran has spoken about wanting to create a family unit and making small steps towards success.
In that regard Bangladesh arguably represent a stiff challenge on that journey. They are one of the better ODI sides in the world albeit one could argue West Indies should get over the line in the T20s.
Machel (@mashstpaddy) attended the press conference with Lead selector Dr Desmond Haynes to ask the pertinent questions then analyse the key talking points.

West Indies secure their grip on 6th place in the World Test Championship following a dominant 7 wicket victory over Bangladesh.
In truth this match was won by the 15th over of the first session on the first day. Despite some late drama on day three West Indies never looked in trouble and went on to record a very comfortable victory early on day four.

The West Indies have achieved what they set out to do. Win the three games vs the Netherlands and secure the 30 ODI Super League points.
The victories move them up to 4th in the ODI Super League table and they now head to Pakistan with some confidence.
Machel was is in the Netherlands for all three games so took some time out to review the third ODI as well as reflect on the series as a whole.
