The performance was more like what people expected from the series between the two sides.
That said despite West Indies arguably running India close and being unlucy to not win both of the first two ODIs the fallout has led to people calling for Phil Simmons head.

West Indies secure their grip on 6th place in the World Test Championship following a dominant 7 wicket victory over Bangladesh.
In truth this match was won by the 15th over of the first session on the first day. Despite some late drama on day three West Indies never looked in trouble and went on to record a very comfortable victory early on day four.

The West Indies have achieved what they set out to do. Win the three games vs the Netherlands and secure the 30 ODI Super League points.
The victories move them up to 4th in the ODI Super League table and they now head to Pakistan with some confidence.
Machel was is in the Netherlands for all three games so took some time out to review the third ODI as well as reflect on the series as a whole.
